Perry Lane Road Drainage Improvements Project

Description

This is an invitation to submit a bid to Glynn County Board of Commissioners for Perry Lane Road Drainage Improvements Project. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, skill, equipment, materials and products as indicated in the plans and specifications for the installation of a double 48" steel culvert pipes under the Norfolk Southern Rail Road line located at Perry Lane Rd. The new double 48" steel pipe will be installed via Jack and Bore method to limit disruptions to the Norfolk Southern Rail traffic. All work will be coordinated with the Norfolk Southern Railroad. The work will contain, but is not limited to, traffic control to include lane closures, NS rail safety procedures and flagging, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, dewatering, backfilling , grassing, storm drain installation via jack and bore and erosion control. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications, Special Provisions and the Construction Drawings.  All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications. The County intends to award a contract for this project but will allow the awarded contractor up to 180 days, from the date of award, to start the project.
