Answer: Yes 2. Is the District interested in receiving information and/or pricing for Print Management Software as part of this RFP? Answer: Yes 3. Are vendors permitted to propose alternative models, provided they meet or exceed the stated specifications? Answer: Yes, as long as they meet or exceed the stated specifications. 4. On pages 2 and 3 of the RFP, you have the following devices listed but no specifications on pages 15, 16, or 17. Can I please get the specifications for these devices: Answer: Production/High Volume Units CVPD140SER: 140 ppm, 8GB ram, 500GB SSD, 8,000 Sheet capacity, Duty Cycle of 350,000 pages per month, 300gsm, 200 ipm IPC710: 70 ppm, 8GB ram, 1TB SSD, 8,000 Sheet capacity, 350gsm, 230 ipm, Duty Cycle of 1,000,000 pages per month Desktop/Multifunction Units IR Adv C357if/DX 527IF: 36 ppm, 190 ipm, 256 GB SSD, 3GB Ram, 2,300 Sheet capacity, 220gsm, Duty Cycle of 100,000 5. On page 4, you state that we are to provide print management software. Do you currently use software on the copiers, and if so, what software? Answer: We need software to create and manage credentials for users under departments or school sites. 6. Does the SSSD use badge access on the copiers? a. If so are you tracking pages per dept? Answer: We do not use badge access. We do you a pin code per user. 7. I show the District is partnered with GPO/Cooperative agreements. Will SSSD use or accept a GPO/Cooperative agreement for this project? Answer: Yes as long as all areas of the RFP are answered. 8. What are the current devices configured for the CVPDP140SER and IPC710? Answer: Configured for Mac computers primarily. 9. You shared the minimum spec requirements for the MFP devices. Is there one for the production print devices? Answer: See answers to #4 on this document. 10.Are you running any preprinted materials through the device (Tabs, Pre-print covers, inserts)? Answer: This is not a need at this time. 11.Do you require the ability to do saddle-stitch booklets? If so, what’s the maximum number of pages for the booklet? Answer: Yes. 50 pages maximum. 12.Do you have any specific requirements for finishing? (Hole-Punch, GBC punch, multi-position stapling, trimming unit) Answer: Yes, we need the ability to do have Hole-Punch and multi-position stapling.
