Paseo Santa Fe Stormwater Retrofit Project (CIP No. 8330)

Description

The City of Vista (City or Agency) is soliciting proposals from qualified design-builder entities (DB) for the Paseo Santa Fe Stormwater Retrofit Project (CIP 8330) (Project). The selected DB will provide the City with engineering design, construction, and construction management services for the project. This Request for Proposals (RFP) includes a description of the Project, scope of services, proposal requirements, criteria for selection and other relevant information.The selected DB must provide a design-build team (DB team) for the Project comprised of a Class A General Engineering Contractor and a Registered Civil Engineer with experience and expertise in designing storm water improvements. The DB team entities must be licensed/registered in the State of California under their respective professions.Interested DBs shall review and utilize existing data, previous relevant work, and additional resources during the proposal phase, including but not limited to, studies and field investigations, to determine the necessary level of effort required for the Project and to for the engineering consultant to complete, sign and stamp the Project plans, specifications, and estimate (PS&E), hereinafter referred as the Construction Documents.As detailed in Sections 17 and 18 of this RFP, award will be based on best value (i.e., experience, expertise, fees) not lowest responsible respondent. Section 6 details the contents required in proposals submitted in response to this RFP.
