Request for Bids Bids are being accepted by West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin), for the Palos Verdes Recycled Water Pump Station Project. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the construction of the following: a building of approximately 785 square feet with an A-frame roof to house a booster pump station consisting of skid mounted centrifugal pumps, including three (3) pumps at 500 gallons per minute (gpm), and two (2) pumps at 28 gpm, all on variable frequency drives (VFDs); a 750-gallon bladder surge tank; connection to existing recycled water system; monorail; electrical equipment including transformer, switchboard, motor control center (MCCs); building mechanical; structural and architectural components; site fencing, new parking spots; application of slurry seal on parking area; drainage; educational exhibits, including all other appurtenances. Project Should be completed with 240 calendar days. This project will be partially funded by State and Federal Grants. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation requirements and all DBE good faith effort and other requirements are included in agreement. As part of the bid, contractor should make and effort to advertise for DBE participation for 30 days. DBE forms are included in the bid package.
