Painting Services for Mesa Public Schools

Description

The purpose of this bid is to create a contract to provide exterior/interior painting services for Mesa Unified School District on an as needed basis. This contract may be awarded to multiple vendors. The work will include, but is not limited to: preparation: priming before painting, painting of walls, ceiling and floors (various heights); wall texturing; wood staining, metal prime and painting; wood and metal door repairs and painting; repairing wallboard holes, wood repair, cinder block holes/cracks, sanding; wallboard taping, corner repairs, spray applications; removal and installation of commercial wallpaper; or any other related series that is standard for the industry. The scope of work and minimum specifications defines the quality and characteristics of the desired materials and application. They are based upon specifications for Dunn Edwards brand paint only. Our facility is equipped with a tinting machine specifically designed for use with Dunn Edwards bases and tints. This allows for seamless touch-up repairs when Dunn Edwards brand paints are used, as it ensures accurate color reproduction without the need to convert formulas from other manufacturers. This process guarantees a perfect match with the original product.
