East Mississippi Community College Bid Package for Scooba Campus Scooba, MS Painting Labor Instructions to Bidders Scooba Campus Contract Period: July 1, 2026 or Subsequent Board Approval Date – June 30, 2028 East Mississippi Community College Board of Trustees is now accepting sealed and electronic bids for the following: Painting Labor Hourly rate for one (1) to five (5) men 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job will be on an as-needed basis and may end at any time. Successful bidder must show Proof of Liability insurance not less than $1,000,000. Sealed bids will be accepted in the Administration Building, Scooba Campus, 1512 Kemper Street, P. O. Box 158, Scooba, MS 39358, or by electronic submission at www.centralauctionhouse.com until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2026, at which time all properly submitted bids shall be opened. Bidding documents and specifications may be obtained by contacting the Business Office at (662) 476-5077 or thunt@eastms.edu. This information will also be made available online by visiting our website at http://www.eastms.edu/bids. Bid documents and specifications may also be downloaded and purchased online from Central Bidding at www.centralauctionhouse.com. Mailed bids should be submitted to: EMCC, ATTN: Tonya Hunt, P.O. Box 158, Scooba, MS 39358. The outside of the bid envelope must be clearly marked in the lower left corner: Sealed Bid – Painting Labor May 28, 2026 Bids shall be for a two-year period. Contract may be terminated by either party at the end of the first year. Written notice of termination must be given 60 calendar days prior to the end of the contract period, or the bid will continue for the second year. Bidders shall be in compliance with the Mississippi Employment Protection Act. By signing bid documents, you are stating that you are in compliance.
