Painesville EPC RFQ for BESS - CPRG 2025 – Page 1 City of Painesville Ohio Electric Division 325 Richmond St, Painesville, OH 44077 PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS City of Painesville, on behalf of its municipal Electric Department, in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.65 through 153.71 and Ohio Administrative Code 153:1, is soliciting statements of qualifications from EPC firms to provide design-build services for the project described as follows (the “Project”): Battery Energy Storage System (herein referred to as “BESS”) Engineering Design Services, Procurement Services and Construction of a BESS in the City of Painesville and interconnected with Painesville Electric Municipal Substations & in accordance with Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CRPG) funding requirements using the “design-build” project delivery method consistent with the criteria established by the Criteria Architect and in accordance with the City’s schedule requirements.
