The Town of Hingham, Massachusetts (“Town”) is seeking the services of a qualified Owner’s Project Manager (“OPM”) within the meaning of M.G.L. Chapter 149 Section 44A½ and all other applicable laws to oversee the planning, designing, bidding, construction and post construction services for a new Center for Active Living building at Bare Cove Park Drive, Hingham, MA. The Town Administrator as the Town’s Chief Procurement Officer and/or Select Board, in consultation with the Center for Active Living Building Committee (“Building Committee”), will act as the Awarding Authority for the project. The Select Board (“SB”) is the jurisdictional body overseeing the site and the facility. The Town contracted with the design firm EDM Studio, Inc. during Phase I of this project to confirm the suitability of the site as well as the scope, program, schematic design, estimated cost, and construction schedule for the building which has been completed.
