Litchfield WPCA Invitation to Bid Open Channel -Vertically or Horizontally Mounted Ultraviolet Disinfection System Litchfield, Connecticut The Litchfield Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) is accepting bids for an Open Channel, Vertically or Horizontally Mounted Ultraviolet Disinfect ion System as per the attached specifications. All bids must be submitted on forms and in accordance with specificat ions supplied by the Litchfield WPCA , 29 Stoddard Road, Bantam CT. Bids will be received at the Office of the First Selectman, 74 West Street, Litchfield, CT , 06759 until 12:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024, and will be opened and read publicly at that time in said office . There is a non-refundable fee of $5.00 for this bid unless the bid is downloaded from the Town of Litchfield web site: www.townoflitchfield.org . Instructions to Bidders 1. Intent The intent of thes e specifications is to obtain a contractor to supply and install one open channel , vertically or horizontally mounted, Ultraviolet Disinfection System as detailed below. This new system is to replace an existing open channel Aquaray® 40 HO VLS UV disinfection system. • • Bid is for completion by April 1, 2025 Mandatory walk-thru Monday October 21 s t , 2024 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EDT and Tuesday October 22 n d , 2024 between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EDT The Litchfield WPCA may select at bid at its sole discretion.
