ADDENDUM 1 DATE: July 20, 2017 TO: All Prospective Bidders Linda Tucker (City Administrator, City of Isle of Palms) FROM: Steven Traynum (CSE Project Manager) _________________ Haiqing Kaczkowski (CSE Project Engineer) _________________ RE: Isle of Palms Renourishment Project– Charleston County, South Carolina ATTACHMENTS: Revised Bid Form C-410 1) The base bid quantity has been increased to a total of 1,000,000 cy. For Base Bid purposes, 650,000 cy will be placed in Reach 1 and 350,000 cy will be placed in Reach 2. The alternate quantity is reduced to 400,000 cy, therefore, the total project volume remains the same, ie – Base + Alt Bid total of 1,400,000 cy. Bidder shall consider language in the summary of work in sections C-520 and C2230 to reflect the adjusted quantities. Bidders shall used the attached Revised Bid Form for the bid. 2) The Owner is adding an additional construction window of 1 October 2018 thru 30 March 2019 to be bided separately from the original window ending 30 March 2018. The additional window will be referred as Bid B in the revised Bid Form. The original window ending 30 March 2018 will be referred as Bid A in the revised Bid Form. Bidders do not have to bid both Bid A and Bid B to be eligible for the work. All blanks on the Bid Form shall be completed. “No Bid” may be entered if a bidder elects not to bid on either Bid A or Bid B. 3) Recent survey data and GIS files have been placed on the dropbox folder at tinyurl.com/IOPNourishment. The survey data is in XYZ format (SC State Plane 3900 in NAVD 88) and covers the beach and offshore area encompassing the project area. The offshore data in and adjacent to the borrow areas was collected in August 2016 and the inshore and beach data was collected in May 2017.
