On-Call Snow Removal Services

Description

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being issued by the Calaveras County Public Works Department (County) in an effort to obtain the services of qualified contractors to provide On-Call Snow Removal Services for County-maintained roads, facilities, and related infrastructure. The County intends to establish a roster of responsive and qualified Contractors to support winter operations and ensure safe public access, roadway mobility, and emergency response during winter storm events. The selected Contractor(s) shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, fuel, incidentals, and other resources necessary to perform snow removal, snow hauling and disposal, ice control, sanding, de-icing, storm response, roadway clearing, and related services as directed by the County. Work may be authorized on an as-needed, on-call basis through task orders issued under a Professional Services Agreement (PSA). Contractors selected through this RFP may be called upon
