STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThe City of West Sacramento is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms or individuals ("Proposer") to provide On-Call Plan Review and Building Inspection Services.Each qualified Proposer is to submit a response in conformity with the terms of this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") by the deadline below ("Proposal"). The Proposer selected by the City pursuant to the terms of this RFQ and the City's contracting procedures, if any is selected, is referred to herein as "Contractor."By way of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the City of West Sacramento Building Division intends to pre-qualify a limited number of full-service firms for professional services for plan review, permitting and inspections of commercial, residential and government buildings and structures. The request for multiple Agreements for Professional Services with consultants will provide staff augmentation as a standard practice to cover spikes in workloads, staff vacancies, and specialty assignments that require unique qualifications. Qualified and experienced staff is required to be available for these services daily or as agreed upon by the City. Firms responding to this RFQ should be able to demonstrate that the personnel that they employ on behalf of the City possess certifications and/or licenses relevant to the work they are performing pursuant to Section 18949.28 of the California Health and Safety Code. SYNONYMOUS TERMSAs used throughout this bid and its attachments, the following terms are synonymous: a.
