On-Call Guardrail Repairs

Description

This project, generally described, consists of repairing and replacing guardrails throughout Calaveras County on an as-needed basis to ensure public safety and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and traffic control necessary for the replacement of County owned/maintained guardrails. The contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, labor, services, and materials, to perform all work necessary to install new guardrails at locations requested by County. The work shall conform to County Standard Specifications, latest applicable version of the MUTCD, Caltrans Standard Specifications and Standard Details. The primary objectives of this contract include: • Ensuring damaged guardrails are repaired promptly to maintain roadway safety. • Complying with all applicable safety standards and regulations. • Minimizing traffic disruptions while performing repairs.
