On-Call Fiber Optic Infrastructure Services (Construction, Maintenance & Repair)

Description

The City of Santa Monica is seeking a qualified and experienced telecommunications construction contractor for on-call fiber optic utility construction and related services. Managed by the Community Broadband Division, this contract will support the City’s efforts to expand, maintain, and enhance its municipal fiber network infrastructure across various public and private locations.The selected contractor will be responsible for a range of services including underground utility construction, fiber optic splicing, building cabling, and small cell equipment installation. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis over a five-year term. The City requires a responsive and capable partner who can deliver high-quality work, meet short-notice and after-hours service needs, and support the City’s long-term broadband goals.This contract offers a unique opportunity for a single firm to play a key role in supporting Santa Monica’s digital infrastructure and connectivity initiatives through reliable, professional, and flexible service delivery.
