The County is seeking proposals from qualified Vendors for Project Title, in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation. The purpose of this Request for Proposal is for Wicomico County (“County”) to contract on behalf of the Department of Public Works to perform professional engineering services for a Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) to evaluate the Old Ocean City Road Corridor Sewer Extension Project, in conformity with the requirements contained within the Proposal Document(s). The PER shall comply with USDA RUS Bulletin 1780‑2 requirements and build upon the Wicomico County Water and Sewer Master Plan (September 2021). The report will define the project need, evaluate feasible alternatives, and include conceptual layouts, life‑cycle present worth cost analyses, detailed and total cost estimates, and an annual operating budget.The study area includes the Old Ocean City Road corridor bounded on the west by Civic Avenue, on the east by Walston Switch Road, and on the south by Route 50 and excludes areas within the City of Salisbury already served by sewer.
