CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: Nucor Sewer Line Cleaning and Assessment File Number: OCA-26-117 Water & Sewer Project Number: 2025.706.00 Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 23, 2026, at 10:00 am local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read. Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on September 16, 2026, at 10:00 am local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility (parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to Security. Project Scope: Heavy Cleaning, CCTV Inspection and Assessment of 1,750 LF of 24” Sanitary Sewer Main in a City of Tuscaloosa easement through the Nucor Steel campus in Tuscaloosa, AL. Generally, the pipeline cleaning is to between City of Tuscaloosa Manhole No. 9116 (downstream)_and City of Tuscaloosa Manhole No. 957 (upstream). Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
