PROJECT OVERVIEW  Project Title: Chickasaw County Courthouse Window Replacement Project  Project Description: Remove all existing exterior window units and replace with window units specified in bidding documents along with all other specified work. Prospective bidders are required to verify quantity and sizes of all exterior window units by appointment with Chickasaw County Custodian Dave Gorman prior to submitting bids. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Chickasaw County Auditor’s Office at 641-394-2100.  Bids Due Date/Turn in Location: Sealed bids will be accepted by the County Auditor of Chickasaw County at the Chickasaw County Courthouse, 2 nd Floor, 8 E. Prospect, New Hampton, IA 50659 or by mail P.O. Box 311, New Hampton, IA 50659 until 9 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.  Opening of Sealed Bids: Sealed bids will be opened at the Chickasaw County Courthouse Board Room, 2nd Floor, 8 E. Prospect, New Hampton, IA 50659 at 9 AM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 during the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors Meeting  Project Commencement Date: After contract awarded, but no sooner than July 1, 2026  Project Completion Date: December 31, 2026  Performance Bond: Required, 100% of Project Cost  Liquidated Damages: $1000/Day  Bidding Proposal, project details/requirements and all specifications are available from the Chickasaw County Auditor’s Office. All proposals must be filed on the forms furnished by Chickasaw County, sealed and plainly marked. Proposals containing any reservations not provided for in the forms furnished may be rejected, and the County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids.
