NOTICE TO BIDDERS For Resurfacing of the Timber Cove Park Courts (Funded by the 2024 Local Recreation Improvement Grant) NOTICE TO BIDDERS is hereby given that sealed Bids are invited and will be received as set forth herein. OWNER: Gloucester Township, Camden County, New Jersey PROJECT NAME: Resurfacing of the Timber Cove Park Courts GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To recondition the existing basketball court for continued use and recondition/repurpose the existing tennis court for hybrid tennis and pickleball use, located in Timber Cove Park, at 13 Sycamore Road, Blackwood, NJ. Project to be funded under the 2024 Local Recreation Improvement Grant. ADDRESS FOR SUBMITTING BIDS: Gloucester Township Municipal Bldg., 1261 Chews Landing-Clementon Road, Blackwood, NJ 08021 ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER’S NAME AND ADDRESS: The Pettit Group, LLC 497 Center Street, Sewell, NJ 08080 Attn.: James L Curran, PE Phone (856) 464-9600 EXAMINATION OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents may be examined Monday through Thursday, except legal holiday, from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, and on Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, only at the address of the Engineer set forth above. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents may be obtained only at the address of the Engineer and at the hours set forth above upon payment of seventyfive dollars ($75.00) for each set of Contract Documents. No refunds will be made. BID SECURITY: Bid Security will be required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount but shall not exceed Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract price. The Bonds or other acceptable surety must be in a form acceptable to Gloucester Township and be issued by a surety company on institution authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. CONSENT OF SURETY: Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. BID SUBMISSION PROCEDURES: Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form contained in the Contract Documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of project and the name and address of the Bidder. The Bid must be delivered to the Owner prior to Bid opening at the above address for submitting Bids. Bids will not be accepted after December 4, 2024, 2:00 pm.
