NOTICE OF TIMBER SALE Sealed Bids will be received by Woodland Forestry LLC., 10571 18th Ave., Monmouth, Iowa 52309 for Jones County Conservation Board, 12515 Central Park Road, Center Junction, Iowa 52212 which will be opened on Thursday October 22nd, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Forestry LLC. for the sale of the following marked or designated timber, located in Sections 1,2 Scotch Grove Twp., T.85N.-R.2W., Jones County, Iowa. Sale is located at the Eby’s Mill Conservation Area and is marked as a clearcut. Access is excellent to the 2 sale areas. The trees are good to excellent quality. The volume in board feet is only an estimate and bidders should satisfy themselves by examination as to the quality of the timber offered. Seller reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Trees may be seen from present to bid opening date. The successful bidder must execute a timber sales contract within 14 days receipt of notice of reward. Bid price does not include rights to residual and/or tops less than 8 inches in diameter remaining after the logs are removed. A period of 16 months will be allowed the purchaser for cutting and removal of this timber. Tree harvest must be completed by March 1st, 2028.
