​ARCATA SCHOOL DISTRICT​ ​NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING​ ​September 14, 2026​ ​ ublic Hearing on the Addendum to the​ P ​Coastal Grove Charter School Charter Petition​ ​ ATE:​ D ​TIME:​ ​LOCATION:​ ​POSTING:​ ​REVIEW:​ ​ onday, September 14, 2026​ M ​Board meeting open session starts at 7:00​​pm​ ​Sunny Brae Middle School Library, 1430​​Buttermilk Lane, Sunny Brae CA​ ​Please see Board Agenda for phone/online access link.​ ​The agenda and meeting documents will be​​posted on the District website​ ​(​arcataschooldistrict.org​​)​​by Friday, September 11.​ ​Copies of the submitted addendum may be inspected​​on the District​ ​website (​​arcataschooldistrict.org​​)​​or at the Arcata​​School District Office,​ ​1435 Buttermilk Lane, Arcata CA by Friday, September 11.​ ​The Arcata School District Governing Board will hold a public hearing in accordance with​ ​Education Code section 47605 (b) to consider the Addendum. The Charter of Coastal​ ​Grove Charter was renewed by the ASD Board of Trustees on May 12, 2025 for a​ ​five-year term (7/1/2025-6/30/2030). If approved, the Addendum shall amend the​ ​Charter to reflect an additional facility serving their Transitional Kindergarten students.​ ​Everyone is welcome to speak to the ASD Governing Board during the Public Hearing with no sign-in required.​ ​Public comment on non-agenda items will be accepted at the start of the meeting.​ ​Individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Board on each agenda item.​ ​For more information, call the District Office at (707) 822-0351, ext. 101​ ​Posted 9/8/2026​
