Commodity or Service Required:Stryker Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Electrocardiogram Devices, Chest Compression Systems, and Power Pro and Power Load Stretcher Systems.Justification for Single/Sole Source Acquisition:Stryker’s Medical division certifies that it is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and/or sole source distributor of parts for Emergency Care products. All service parts are either manufactured by Stryker or purchased from outside suppliers who are contracted by Stryker and must abide by thorough testing and controls.Recommended Procurement Approach:For the reason stated above, Clay County Purchasing Department intends to utilize the Sole Source Procurement method to contract with Stryker Sales LLC for supplying the above.
