Northport SS4A Package No 2 REVISED - Raised Curb Channelizer

Description

The City of Northport is seeking materials for a Safe Streets for All (SS4A) demonstration grant project. Raised curb channelizers are included in the scope of this project  See the related PDF documents for detailed specifications and response instructions. There are dimensions and delineator spacing call outs. This should be enough information to determine the number of end caps and delineators. 36" is the preferred delineator size. Tubular is the preferred style. The delineators along centerlines should be yellow (project #1 & project #5) and white along the pavement edge line (project #2).  See section 707 in the ALDOT construction specification book for sheeting color and size.  The sheeting color should be reflective white on the delineators.  Two - 3" bands would appropriate for size. As long as the delineators are similar in kind to those listed in the ALDOT approved materials publication, they should be acceptable to use.
