North Harrington / 4th Street Sidewalk Projects

Description

This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the North Harrington and 4th Street Sidewalk Projects. The successful Bidder shall provide all skill; labor, material, and equipment for:North Harrington Project which consists of the construction of a new proposed 4-inch x 5-foot sidewalk. The work to be performed under this contract consists of the construction of Five-foot-wide concrete sidewalk down southern edge of North Harrington Drive beginning at Frederica Road intersection and running east to Harrington Lane. The work will include but is not limited to single lane closure traffic control, grading, crosswalk installation with signage, installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control best management practices, sidewalk installation, backfill, dressing and grassing;4th Street Sidewalk Project which consists of the removal of approximately 2,100 linear feet of existing sidewalk along Fourth street, and the construction of new proposed 8 foot wide sidewalk in-place and according to the construction plans and specifications provided herein. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all skill, labor, equipment, materials/products and performing all project coordination necessary to repair/replace the existing sidewalk to include installation of handicap ramps and crosswalk striping. The work will contain, but is not limited to, sidewalk construction, Demo, traffic control to include lane closures, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, backfilling , grassing, Striping and erosion control.All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications and the construction drawings provided herein. All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications.
