North Gilsizer Detention Basin Improvements Project

Description

GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION The City is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of stormwater infrastructure improvements, including the installation of piezometer(s), a City-furnished trash capture manhole, an ecology block weir, a concrete retaining wall, and a chain-link swing gate. Additional work includes installation of riprap protection and placement of additional ecology blocks along the existing channel. The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, excavation, grading, installation, backfilling, site preparation, and restoration necessary to complete the improvements in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and contract documents. The City will furnish the trash capture manhole; the Contractor shall be responsible for handling, installation, and integration of the unit into the stormwater system, as specified in the contract documents.
