North Fork Catfish Creek Multi-Site Design Services

Description

The City of Dubuque, Iowa is requesting competitive, sealed qualifications from professional consulting firms to provide engineering design and related services for two stormwater stabilization projects: •    North Fork Catfish Creek Stabilization & Trail Project •    Embassy West Creek Restoration Project The selected consultant will be responsible for developing construction documents, leading all required permitting activities (Iowa DNR, USACE, etc.), and providing construction phase support for both projects. The City prefers that the Consultant supervise any sub contracted work, including services provided by third party inspection firms. As needed, and based on written recommendation and agreement between the Consultant and the City, the City may enter into separate contracts with sub consultants independent of this agreement. The City intends to bid out both projects for construction in mid-late summer of 2027. The selected Consultant will be expected to complete all assigned work within the specified timeframe under the general direction of the City project manager identified in Section 7.0 of this document and as authorized by the Dubuque City Council. The work will require coordination with multiple City departments, including Engineering, Public Works, Parks & Recreation, and Communications.
