Nohl Ranch Rehabilitation Project

Description

The work consists of rehabilitating the roadway by removing and reconstructing the asphalt concrete pavement within the existing right of way with asphalt concrete pavement; the removal and reconstruction of ADA access ramps, driveway approaches, curb, curb and gutter, sidewalk, replacement and adjustment of utility structures and pull-boxes; replacement of traffic detection devices, striping, signage, pavement markings, and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the proposed improvements in accordance with the Project’s Plans and Specifications.This project is covered “Project Work” as defined in the Second Amended and Restated Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) the City entered into with the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council and the Signatory Craft Councils and Local Unions. Therefore, the awarded Contractor and its subcontractors of all tiers shall agree to be party to and bound by the CWA by signing a Letter of Assent (a form attached to the CWA as Attachment A). The CWA will be incorporated by reference in the Construction Contract and can be accessed at the City’s website at: http://anaheim.net/229/Public-Works For the purposes of bid evaluations and fairness to all bidders, the City will evaluate the Total Base Bid Proposal. The lowest responsive responsible Base Bid bidder will be selected. Work under the Alternative Bid (if any) may be authorized, if it is determined at the sole discretion of the City, that work under the Alternative Bid is within the City's available budget. All bidders shall further understand that the City reserves the right to reject all bids.
