After a review of the questions received and consideration of industry practices for fuel delivery services, the City issues the following clarifications and revisions. Q&As 1. Is it possible to get bid results from all vendors? Answer: Click here to access the previous bids for the current contract. 2. I have some questions in regards to Insurance and my insurance requirements . It looks as if this all required it will raise prices , and force many venders from bidding , is it possible to have our insurance agency contact you ? They have questions on why your asking for some of this ? like cyber liability, we don’t have access to anything , but deliveries most locations order on own. Answer: Yes. The City welcomes questions regarding insurance requirements during the solicitation period. The City's objective is to maintain reasonable risk protection for participating agencies while encouraging broad competition among qualified fuel suppliers. 3. Our client would be delivering the product to various locations, it is not clear, why the Insurance Requirements show, Environmental Liability, Sudden and Accidental Pollution and Cleanup & Remediation . Each is showing a separate requirement of $5,000,000. These coverages usually pertain to locations that are owned or occupied , this is not the case. Our client would be delivering product to locations owned by the City of Providence, in their own vehicles. Answer: The City recognizes that fuel suppliers generally do not own or control the delivery locations.
