NOTICE INVITING BIDS - The City of Chico will receive sealed bids at 965 Fir Street, Chico, CA 95928 (mailing address: P.O. Box 3420, Chico CA 95927 ATTN: Public Works O&M), until 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on October 7, 2026 at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Once the results have been determined by staff, bid results may be obtained on the Public Purchase website under Bid # 2026 – CITY GREEN WASTE HAULING. GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION – The City of Chico is requesting proposals from qualified green waste haulers to provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and services to receive, grind, load and haul City’s green waste from the Green Waste Staging Facility at the Airport to a facility fully permitted to receive and process green waste (per SB 1383 requirements).
