PROJECT NAME:The City of Victorville is seeking qualified contractors to install a new main gas line at the Animal Care and Adoption Center. The project includes trenching, saw cutting, concrete cutting, installation of gas piping, testing, and backfilling. Final surface restoration, including concrete and sod replacement, will be performed by City staff. The work requires coordination with utility providers and must comply with all applicable codes and safety standards.This project is classified as a public works project and is subject to California prevailing wage requirements. Contractors and all subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and provide certified payroll records. The selected contractor must hold a valid Class A, B, and/or C-36 Contractor license and demonstrate experience with similar underground utility projects.The contractor will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds, maintain all required insurance coverage, and accept 5% retention until project completion and acceptance.
