The City of Ridgefield is accepting sealed bids for P21002 N 8th Ave and Simons Street to be received no later than Monday, August 22, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.The City of Ridgefield is seeking bids from highly qualified contractors to provide all labor, supplies, equipment, materials for the improvement of North Simons Street with water system improvements and the addition of a new stormwater system and sidewalk, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.The Work shall be fully complete within 45 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed.This project is financed through the Community Development Block Grant Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The contract will be subject to regulations of the Departments of Labor and Housing and Urban Development.Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wages as set forth in the contract documents.The City must advertise in its official newspaper source, The Columbian, its trade source for additional exposure, the Daily Journal of Commerce (DJC), and one or more minority newspaper sources, Washington State Office of Minority & Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE).
