EASTERN IOWA COMMUNITY COLLEGES MUSCATINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE GAEKLE HALL REMODEL March 5, 2026 #24005911 ADDENDUM #2 A. SPECIFICATIONS 1. Section 00 41 13 – Bid Form Please use the revised bid form included in this addendum. Alternate 3 for a PVC membrane roof has been added to the bid form. A $10,000 testing and inspecting allowance has been added. 2. Section 01 21 00 – Allowances See revised specification section included in this addendum. A $10,000 allowance for testing and inspecting has been added. 3. Section 07 46 19 – Steel Siding Omit this section in entirety. It is no longer required. The fascia panels at the exterior walkways have been changed to insulated metal panels. 4. Section 07 54 19 – Polyvinyl-Chloride (PVC) Roofing See new specification section included in this addendum. 5. Section 07 54 23 – Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Roofing Item 3.3 Installation of Insulation - As an alternative to the adhered base layer installation method specified, the insulation may be mechanically fastened to the existing Tectum deck as long as specialized Tectum fasteners are used. 6. Section 08 81 17 – Fire-rated Glazing Item 2.1 Manufacturers – Add “SaftiFirst Fire Rated Glazing Solutions” to the list of approved manufacturers. B. DRAWINGS 1. Drawing A1.06 – Upper & Lower Floor Finish Plans See revised drawing included in this addendum for changes to the accent wall locations and the room finish schedule. 2. Drawing A3.04 – Wall Sections At wall section D/A3.04, new 6” metal stud framing has been added for the new metal soffit panels. See revised drawing included in this addendum. 3. Drawing A5.01 – West Walkway Plan and Elevation See revised drawing included in this addendum. a. Existing steel columns will be cleaned and painted. New sheet metal column covers have been omitted. b. New gutters and downspouts have been added and existing scuppers will be removed. c. Fascia details have been revised to show new 2” insulated metal one-piece fascia panels. 4. Drawing A5.02 – East Walkway Plan and Elevation See revised drawing included in this addendum. a.
