This project will result in a microgrid integrating an existing solar photovoltaic (PV) system, a new battery energy storage system (BESS), and a new recently designed generator [dual-fuel (natural gas anddiesel) or diesel-only] at the City of Thousand Oaks Municipal Service Center (MSC). The microgrid shall enable off-grid autonomous operation of the facility as well as utility energy arbitrage and peak demand reduction. The successful proposer (Contractor) shall provide procurement and construction of the generator and switchboard and design and engineering of the BESS, meters, data acquisition systems, electrical infrastructure, controls hardware and software, and monitoring software. Procurement and construction of the BESS, meters, data acquisition systems, electrical infrastructure, controls hardware and software, and monitoring software may later be issued as an amendment to the agreement.
