City of Revere, Massachusetts Invitation For Bids McKinley RECC Tower Project MUN-2026-1027 Sealed bids for construction of the McKinley RECC Tower Project for the City of Revere, Massachusetts, will be received at the office of the City of Revere Purchasing Agent, Revere City Hall, 281 Broadway, Revere, Massachusetts until 10:00 AM prevailing time, on October 8, 2026 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer’s check, or cashier’s check payable to the Owner, is required in the amount of five percent of the bid. Contract documents may be examined and/or obtained by contacting the City of Revere Purchasing Agent, Michael Piccardi at purchasing@revere.org or at 781-286-8157 at Revere City Hall, Office of the Purchasing Agent, 281 Broadway, Revere, MA 02151. Revere City Hall office hours are 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday thru Thursdays, and 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM on Friday’s. Contract documents will be available beginning on September 9, 2026. All bids must be in a sealed envelope plainly marked “McKinley RECC Tower Project” and returned to the Purchasing Department prior to the opening date and time. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as stipulated in Section 00700 GENERAL CONDITIONS of these specifications. All bids for this project are subject to applicable bidding laws of Massachusetts, including General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27H, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Prevailing Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract that the contractor must ensure the employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin under Executive Order 11246, as amended.
