LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF REVERE INVITATION FOR BIDS BITUMINOUS CONCRETE SUPPLY BID NO: MUN-2026-1025 The City of Revere is soliciting sealed bids for “Bituminous Concrete Supply” for the Department of Public Works. The bids will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Revere, Massachusetts, prior to 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, immediately after which the bids will be opened and read publicly. Documents will be available beginning Thursday, August 6, 2026. Contract documents may be obtained by contacting the City of Revere Purchasing Department at purchasing@revere.org or 781286-8157 at Revere City Hall, Office of the Purchasing Agent, 281 Broadway, Revere, MA 02151. Revere City Hall office hours are Monday thru Thursday, 8:15AM to 5:00 PM and Friday’s 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked "BITUMINOUS CONCRETE SUPPLY" and submitted to the Office of the Purchasing Agent prior to 10:00 AM on August 20, 2026. Each bid submitted to the City of Revere must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a bid bond, money order, cashier’s check, certified check, or treasurer’s check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total value of the bid. Checks must be made payable to the City of Revere. The selected contractor must furnish a fifty percent (50%) Labor and Material Payment Bond. The City of Revere as the awarding authority, may accept any bid or a portion of a bid, waive any irregularities and/or formalities, investigate the ability of the vendors to honor a bid, select a vendor who does not submit the lowest bid and award all contracts as shall be considered in the best interest of the City of Revere. It is the policy of the City of Revere to take positive steps to maximize the utilization of minority business enterprises in all activities administered by this agency. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) business days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This invitation for bid is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30, § 39M. Michael A.
