ADDENDUM NO. 1 Morello Park Elementary School – TK Playground Site Work Project Martinez Unified School District Martinez, California March 13, 2026 This addendum shall supersede all previously issued specifications, addenda, and drawings wherein this addendum contradicts previously issued documents. All other conditions remain unchanged. The following changes, modifications, corrections, clarifications, and / or additions as set forth herein shall apply to the above documents and shall be made a part thereof and shall be subject to all the requirements thereof as though originally specified and / or shown. GENERAL 1.01 Base Bid shall include the supply and installation of the composite nailer board in accordance with Exhibit A and Detail 2/C-4. Field modifications shall be made as necessary to fit curved alignments. 1.02 Base Bid shall include the additional concrete sidewalk area to be removed and replaced per updated Civil Drawings C-2 and C-3. 1.03 Provide a price for Add Alternate No. 1 (refer to Document 01 22 00). Bid Form 00 41 13 has been revised and is provided in this addendum. QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS 1.04 Are Concrete Contractors C-8 able to bid for this project? Yes, concrete contractors holding a C-8 license may submit bids. Document 00 11 16 Notice to Bidders, Item No. 3 has been updated: “To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors’ license(s): A, or B, or C-8” Document 00 41 13 Bid Form and Proposal, Item No. 9 has been updated: “Bidder acknowledges that the license required for performance of the Work is an A, or B, or C-8 license.” 1.05 How much is the Engineering Estimate of construction cost? The Engineering Estimate for construction cost is $151,923. 1.06 The scale indicated on sheets C-1 and C-2 is 1” = 5’. However, when performing takeoff using this scale, the quantities obtained do not match the quantities listed in the legend. For reference, the Pipe Surfacing Removal quantity shown in the legend is 1,386 SF. When scaled from the plan using 1” = 5’, the calculated area is approximately 423 SF, which is significantly different from the quantity provided. Could you please confirm the correct drawing scale for sheets C-1 and C-2, or advise if the plans have been reduced during printing or PDF generation? If applicable, please provide corrected plans or guidance on the appropriate scaling to be used for takeoff.
