The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to aid the City in development and execution of the City's Microenterprise program. The chosen proposer ("Consultant") will work as part of a team with City employees to conduct community outreach, market the program to target participants, collaborate with local lenders to increase financing available to program participants, provide technical assistance and training, and conduct a series of business development workshops in both English and Spanish to advance the program. Program participants are to be low-to-moderate income owners, or City residents that want to become owners, of a Microenterprise business with a physical location in West Sacramento.
