Measure A: Renewal and Public Information Roadmap

Description

The Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG), as the Local Transportation Authority for Santa Barbara County, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to assist in the development of a renewal and public information roadmap for the extension of the voter-approved transportation sales tax measure, Measure A, for local jurisdiction and SBCAG Board consideration in 2032. Location:The new transportation sales tax measure will cover Santa Barbara County, including the incorporated cities of Buellton, Carpinteria, Goleta, Guadalupe, Lompoc, Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Solvang and the unincorporated communities of Santa Barbara County.  Qualifications:The selected consultant must demonstrate:Expertise in developing measure materials, including Investment Plans and OrdinancesExperience in facilitating a varied team comprised of any sub consultants (pollster), staff efforts, a focus group leader, and outside engagement consultant(s).Familiarity with and success in developing transportation-specific sales tax measures.Strong community engagement skills with the ability to relay complex subjects in relatable terms.Capacity to deliver high-quality visualizations and reports for decision-makers.
