McIntosh Power Plant Unit 5 Bulk Hydrogen Supply

Lakeland Electric solicits standard cubic foot pricing for the guaranteed bulk supply of 99% pure (or better) hydrogen from well-established, reputable suppliers, able to supply McIntosh Power Plant's Unit #5 with product on a 365 day per year, around-the-clock basis within forty-eight (48) hours of order being placed. The expected annual need of Lakeland Electric for Unit #5 is 200,000 standard cubic feet; the on-site storage system operates when fully charged at two-thousand (2,000) pounds per square inch (psi)An agreement reached between Owner and successful Bidder(s) will begin with the issuance of a Purchase Order for an initial term of one calendar year with four (4) optional one (1) year renewals upon mutual agreement. In the interest of ensuring a consistent supply of critical product Owner reserves the right to tier the award of this Agreement, so that the Bidders will be awarded Primary and Secondary status; the Primary supplier being the best-priced and most qualified vendor, while the Secondary vendor, also being highly qualified and reputable, will be called upon if or when the Primary vendor is unable to meet Owner's needs.
