Maylor Road Drainage Improvements

Description

Leon County is seeking the services of a qualified vendor to perform drainage improvements to a portion of Maylor Road in accordance with the Specifications, the "Bid Set" Contract Plans (Attachment E), Water Main Relocation Plans (Attachment J), and the Supplemental Specifications (Attachment F) contained within this solicitation.The scope of work to be performed under this unit price bid shall include construction of a new Stormwater facility, drainage pipes, road reconstructions, roadside ditch grading/stabilization, driveway reconstruction, and all associated improvements as shown on the Construction Plans (Attachment E) in the bid documents. The proposed project for Maylor Road Drainage Improvements is located within Section 23, Township 1 North, Range 1 East, in Leon County, Florida. This project is anticipated to take 240 calendar days to perform. The complete construction documents include a series of attachments which are listed in the Specifications of the solicitation.Prime Contractor shall possess current and valid FDOT pre-qualifications in the Drainage, Flexible Paving and Grading work class. The pre-qualifications shall be current and valid at the time of the bid submittal.Any Prime Contractor who submits a bid with the intent to use a Sub-Contractor who possesses the work class pre-qualifications MUST identify the Sub-Contractor and submit the Sub-Contractors current and valid FDOT pre-qualifications in the Drainage, Flexible Paving and Grading work class by the Proposal Submission Deadline to be considered responsive to this bid solicitation.The county has obtained all the Temporary Construction Easements (TCE) from the property owners for this project except one property. This Easement will be attained prior to Construction Commencement.
