In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing parking lot by grinding existing asphalt and placing 2 inches of new Hot Mix Asphalt to reconstruct the parking lot. In addition, the work includes parking lot light foundations, conduits and pull boxes (furnishing of light poles not included in contract), installation of raised crosswalks, and installation of vegetationreatment boxes. The work also includes demolition and construction of concrete curb, gutter, cross gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps and driveways, storm drainage, signage and striping, pavement grinding, street reconstruction, adjustment of utilities, concrete and Hot Mix Asphalt pavement. Contractor will be required to perform the work in stages and maintain access to the Waterfront Parking Lot and the Recreational Coastal Trail per the construction plan.
