Main Street Bridge Mechanical System Components Phase II

Description

The County of Volusia, Department of Public Works, Road & Bridge Division, is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for Main Street Bridge Mechanical System Components Phase II project in Daytona Beach, Florida.  The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. Bidders shall bid on all items in order to be considered responsive. The span drive machinery rehabilitation project for Bridge No. 794004, Main Street Bridge over Halifax River, consists of: (1) cleaning and painting all main drive machinery, (2) cleaning and painting the span drive machinery and supports, the rack, rack support frames, and portion of main girder both externally and internally, (3) provide rivet and bolt replacement exhibiting more than 50% section loss, (4) rehabilitating floating shaft couplings, and (5) provide tie down devices during unstable conditions of work. The contractor shall provide a complete job, including all labor, materials, and equipment, including but not limited to:  traffic control, functional checks, O&M manuals and as-built surveys/drawings.
