The responsibility for submitting a response to this invitation to bid (ITB) on or before the stated date and time will be solely and strictly the responsibility of the offeror. INVITATION TO BID ASPHALT RESURFACING, STRIPING, AND MILLING THE CITY STREETS IN CALHOUN, GEORGIA LMIG PROJECT #2026-09-08 The City of Calhoun is requesting sealed bids for asphalt resurfacing, stripping, and milling of various city streets. Work is as specified in the Bid Document and is to be done in accordance with current GDOT standards and specifications. Bidders are required to carefully examine the specifications contained in this bid document. Questions regarding Project #LMIG 2026-09-08 will be accepted in writing only, to the City of Calhoun Purchasing Agent, Sarah Wiggins, at swiggins@calhounga.gov . Responses will be posted by addenda no later than 2:00 PM EST on September 30, 2026. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bids must be received by 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, October 8,2026, and may be delivered to the Purchasing Department, 700 West Line Street. Bids shall be clearly marked and sealed, including the appropriate bid number and title. Late bids will not be considered nor returned.
