NPSD LPG AND MAINTENANCE PRE-BID MEETING QUESTIONS New Questions Received as of 04.22.21 1) Does the maintenance contract include replacement parts? Whose responsibility is the cost of replacement parts? The maintenance is for labor only. The North Penn School District will pay for replacement parts, unless covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. 2) Does the propane tank have a backup generator? No. 3) Is the vendor expected to wet-fill school buses if there is a loss of power? Yes. The vendor is expected to wet-fill all school buses in the event of any emergency situation that would prevent school buses from being operational. 4) May you submit a cashier’s check for bid security instead of a certified check? Yes. 5) Due to the public health crisis in America, we are unable to obtain wet “original” signatures for this bid at this time. All of our staff are working remotely in which electronic signatures can only be provided at this time. Please advise if you will take this revision into consideration. We can provide Original “wet” signatures at a later time. Will you accept electronic authorized signatures? Electronic signatures will be accepted. 6) Due to the public health crisis in America, we are unable to obtain a notary required for the signature page within your bid at this time.
