Lighting at the Carver Recreation Center Multipurpose Field

Description

The City of Bartow is soliciting bids from qualified, experienced, and properly licensed electrical contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to complete improvements to the sports field lighting system at the Carver Recreation Center Multipurpose Field. The work includes the installation and activation of owner-furnished lighting equipment, associated electrical infrastructure, and related components necessary to provide a complete and operational lighting system. The project also includes the transportation and relocation of existing lighting equipment from the Bartow Sports Complex, located at 850 Highway 555, Bartow, FL, to the Carver Recreation Center Multipurpose Field, located at 520 Herbert Dixon Blvd, Bartow, FL, for installation and commissioning.This project is funded in whole or in part through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and requirements. The successful bidder shall comply with all U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements, including but not limited to Davis-Bacon labor standards, Section 3 provisions, Equal Opportunity requirements, nondiscrimination regulations, and all other applicable federal compliance requirements.Bidders are responsible for reviewing the Invitation to Bid (ITB) and all accompanying documents prior to submitting a bid. Required documents include, but are not limited to, the HUD Special Conditions Packet, applicable SAM.gov Wage Determinations, and all other attachments included in the solicitation package. Submission of a bid constitutes acknowledgment that the bidder has reviewed and understands all project requirements and applicable federal compliance obligations.
