LEC Additions/ Alterations to Educational Exhibits

Description

Construction project management, demolition and interior finishes construction, minor electrical work as may be required for exhibits, design, fabrication and installation of new proposed education exhibits meeting the intent of the Scope of Work from County provided sketches. New reception desk with subterranean view of gopher tortoise and burrow per County provided photo. Relocation of two educational exhibits to corridor. Demolition of three existing exhibits and installation of new exhibits and interior finishes to match existing in its place. Re-pipe & recalibrate compressed air system to two existing exhibits or development of a new system. Repair or redesign of one existing exhibit to remove opportunity for algae growth and adjust timing of light functions.  See Exhibits A, B, and C in attachments. Note: This is an educational exhibit project requiring museum/educational exhibit designer(s)/ fabricator(s). A licensed architect or engineer is not required.  If required by authority having jurisdiction, sealed design criteria plans will be provided by the County’s Senior Architect.
