Lee County Mosquito Control District Chiller Upgrade From: ADG Architecture llc Project Number: 2023-J-108 Date: 03.01.2024 RE: Addendum #4 The documents included in this revision shall become a part of the Contract Documents and modify the original Permit/Bid documents dated 08-11-2023. Here is a brief description of the changes in this addendum: QUESTIONS ISSUED BY PROPOSERS: Questions from proposers are shown in italics, answers by A/E or Lee County Mosquito Control District staff shown in bold. 1. Question: Can you provide specifications on the underground valve box (sizes)? Answer: Per addendum #4 documents, we are tapping existing chilled water lines and providing new valves above grade at the existing building (Building A). No new valve boxes are required. 2. Question: Can you provide details and specifications for the digging, refill and paving of the parking lot/asphalt for the new chiller line branches to the existing building? Answer: Refill & paving to match existing. 3. Question: Can you provide keynote 8 for page M001 as to the connection to the existing building? Answer: Keynote 8 has been modified based on scope of work required. 4. Question: Is the chiller owner provided? Answer: I will specify schedule 40 black steel piping pre-insulated with HDPE jacket. DRAWINGS ARCHITECTURAL -- – TITLE SHEET – Re-Issued • Sheet index schedules added addendum #4 column with all revised sheets noted. MECHANICAL M100 – CHILLER PLAN – Re-Issued • Removed valve box from mechanical plan. • Specified location of new chilled water supply and return piping stub up. • Specified new piping to be pre-insulated schedule 40 black steel with insulation and HDPE jacket.
