Lee County Mosquito Control District Chiller Upgrade From: ADG Architecture llc Project Number: 2023-J-108 Date: 02.26.2024 RE: Addendum #3 The documents included in this revision shall become a part of the Contract Documents and modify the original Permit/Bid documents dated 08-11-2023. Here is a brief description of the changes in this addendum: QUESTIONS ISSUED BY PROPOSERS: Questions from proposers are shown in italics, answers by A/E or Lee County Mosquito Control District staff shown in bold. 1. Question: Do you want all the makeup water piping (and parts) replaced or just parts (PRV, check valves gauges)? Answer: Anything that can be made new would be great. 2. Question: I do not see make up water to the new chiller, can you provide details for this (the plan does say piping)? Answer: The design intent was to reuse and repair the existing water makeup system that is on the backside of the switchgear that is being removed with the removed chiller and pump. On sheet M100, it is errantly marked as keynote 4 on the chiller plant keynotes (existing), when keynote 6 is what should have been applied. Keynote 6 is located at the existing expansion tank, but should also be at the water makeup. The makeup water is for the entire system, not just the new chiller, since the entire system is interconnected. 3. Question: Do you want the existing strainers replaced on the chiller that remains (strainers not shown on demo plan)? Question: The motors on the P-2 pumps and the pumps themselves are to be rebuild (per description), are we leaving the motors and pumps alone on P-1? (the plans say so, however they appear to be in the same condition as the P-2 pumps and motors). Answer: We would want P2 & P1 pumps rebuilt.
