Adjacent to (south) the site of the new parking lot is an existing asphalt parking lot that is approximately 10,000 square feet. See photo below with location highlighted in yellow. Bidders are encouraged to also submit a quote for repairing or replacing and restriping that parking area. a. Option 1 – replace the existing asphalt parking lot with concrete. The same concrete and sitework specifications, as listed in the original Invitation for Bids, shall apply to this alternate. b. Option 2 – replace the existing asphalt parking lot with a minimum of 4” of hot-mix asphalt over a solid and practical subgrade. 2. Across the drive and to the west of the new parking lot is an existing concrete parking area. (Highlighted in blue on the photo below.) Bidders are encouraged to also submit a quote for cleaning and restriping that parking area.
