LAFCO Executive Officer and/or Legal Services Tuolumne County

Description

The Tuolumne County Local Agency Formation Commission (“Tuolumne LAFCO/LAFCO”) seeks proposals from qualified professionals or firms to perform Executive Officer services. LAFCO is also seeking proposals from qualified professionals or firms to perform Legal services. Proposals offering either Executive Officer services or Executive Officer and Legal services will be considered. The Executive Officer is appointed by, reports to, and serves at the will of the Commission.  The Executive Officer position is authorized by Section 56384 of the California Government Code and has responsibility for overall policy development, program planning, fiscal and personnel management, general administration, contract administration, and operation of Tuolumne LAFCO.  The Executive Officer will also be responsible for conducting day-to-day business and administration of the Commission and making reports and recommendations to the Commission on matters that require the Commission's consideration and action.  This person/firm will serve as an independent contractor to the Commission.
