Krome & Flagler Avenue W & S Upgrade and Transit Accessibility Improvements

Description

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a contract, by means of sealed Bids, from qualified, experienced and licensed State of Florida contractors to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, and incidentals necessary to complete the work as required by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract for the Krome & Flagler Avenue Water and Sewer Upgrade and Transit Accessibility Improvements project in Homestead, Florida 33030. The contractor shall coordinate, through the Owner/Engineer, the work of their contract with any work by others.This project consists of water and sewer construction upgrades on Krome Avenue and Flagler Avenue as well as Transit Accessibility Improvements and is made possible through federal and state agencies. Bidders shall comply with all applicable requirements. A portion of this project will be federally assisted through the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant, state assistance is provided by Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Grant L0219 and FDEP Biscayne Bay Water Quality Improvement Grant C2502 in addition to the multiple City-funded sources. Bidder must comply with Presidential Executive Order 11246, as amended; by Executive Order 11375; Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended; the Davis-Bacon Act of 1968, as amended; the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act; the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act and all other applicable federal, state and local ordinance.Note that Contractor must ensure that employees are not discriminated because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
